Jade’s Journey


“I would like to thank you for helping me with my Nutrition. I realized how much I have changed; I no longer eat unhealthy fats and keep my focus on having proteins and fruits. The biggest change for me is that I actually now eat vegetables. I no longer feel unwell eating vegetables and eat them with almost every meal.

Since our coaching I went “off track” a couple of times, but instead of feeling discouraged, you taught me to not feel guilty and to move forward consistently. You coached me for “only” 3 months; however, it will stay with me for the long term in the future.

Within the 3 Months of Coaching, Jade and I identified opportunities to slowly adjust her nutrition throughout the day, identifying triggers which kept her reaching for sweeter quick options.
Along with reshaping her path, identifying trigger foods, and adding more nutritious options to her day, she started seeing the positive impact on her sleep and stress level which was high due to her final exams at her University.
Once the momentum was created, we changed her focus to her food environment as well as her sleep routine, adjusting to where she was able to get quality rest during the night without any disruptions. Along with the program, Jade learned to proactively plan her meals on days she was working full time, making sure she kept her meals consistent for her needs.
By the end of our Coaching Program, Jade had lost a total of 35cm of her overall body circumference. Among other things, she learned to make better food choices, enjoyed cooking and preparing vegetables, eating more protein, learned to plan and prepare her meals, added additional movement to her day and created a good sleep and recovery routine.
Most importantly she learned not to guilt herself for days that were not ideal, but to understand the continuum of her own journey and to bounce back on track as soon as possible.

Jade’s journey was amazing to witness, as she changed from eating mostly processed foods and no vegetables to a cook herself, preparing her meals and trying new recipes. She reshaped her environment to match her goals and hit them full on.
Grace’s Journey


“It has been a year since I followed Maja’s Coaching. Byond the kilos I lost, Maja taught me to have more confidence in myself and to understand how I and my body is functioning.
From there I learned to balance my nutrition and my lifestyle, I learned to see and focus on the positive aspects of each event in my life. Today, I see what I am capable of and with a smile and my gained confidence I know that all my goals are now achievable. I take a lot of positives from this experience which goes way beyond the aspect of Nutrition- Maja somehow put my life in order.

If I can point out one thing standing out in particular, I would say it is “finding the positive” in what we live. Even if there are cloudy days, the sun always comes back.”
During our first meeting, Grace explained that she had experienced a difficult time with food in the past, leaving her unsure how to move forward from this point. Losing weight was still one of her initial goals, along with matching her Nutrition to her days and activities.

Once we started adjusting slowly Grace’s Nutrition, she learned how to fuel her body to her needs, overcoming her concerns to eat too much or too little, but just what was right for her, taking in account her activities an active CrossFitter.
As she navigated through the program, she started to enjoy her food. As part of the coaching, we addressed Negative Self Talk regarding food, changing the “labeling” of food from “bad” to “more favorable” and “better choices”.
Along her journey she learned how to tune into her hunger cues, evaluating the right portions and changed the mindset for food as a “burden” to her meals being a pleasure she enjoyed, with friends, family or even just by herself.
Connecting with her deeper motivation, she learned to see small changes as a Positive along the way to a bigger journey and greater purpose, tuning into her real goal and desires for her future. Positivity became her strong suit, practicing Self-Compassion and Acceptance for who she is and what is driving her made her realize to be the strong woman she is.
At the end of our Coaching, Grace had re-learned to eat whole foods to fuel herself for the day and she made a huge change to envision a positive future with many positive possibilities that she is now perusing.
Her journey was an absolute pleasure to be part of, and I am tremendously proud of all the efforts and changes she has made and is still pursuing.
